We (Bullstin) reserve the rights to update this privacy policy at any time, depending on structural site changes, updates in basic functionality, new features, and/or moderation requirements.
Your profile is not currently indexed or searchable on the site, however your handle is fixed and permanent once you register your account, and your profile will be accessible to anyone who has a link or knows what it is in some way.
The Bullstin website does not currently log any IP addresses in a database or associate IP addresses with account login instances, however this may change in the future with a more robust content moderation system.
We will not directly scrape any user submitted material for machine learning of any kind, and we have no interest in any material produced by said systems in any measurable way. AI generated content (material made by machine learning algorithms) will be removed at moderator discretion if properly discernable; However, we cannot guarantee material on Bullstin (Any material hosted within our web services) will not make its way into any Machine Learning algorithm. We strive to create a robust and accessible application for desktop computers as we progress in development, and naturally that means we have to make our website parsable by screen-readers. (Bullstin is currently not tested with any accessibility metric, so this is not a guarantee of a pleasant experience using those utilities at this time.) That being said, I now will state this clearly: If it’s parsable by screen-readers, it will be very easy for a bad actor (Any party attempting to use large portions of Bullstin’s user-submitted material for machine learning) to scrape the website as-is. Measures will be taken against identifiable violations of our AI policy in our Terms of Service document, but please understand that this may be a losing battle if done subtly by any bad actor.
We reserve the right to remove your material at any time if it violates the Terms of Service or is generally indecent or harmful to other users. (This will be based on our Terms of Service and moderation team discretion.) We are allowed to ‘censor’ you, as we are not any branch or office of government. We generally will not allow any far-leaning extremist, or “MAGA” (Referencing the far right “make america great again”) family of movements values.
